Watching the news is a frustrating task these days. The media has such a tremendous stranglehold on what and how stories are told that it can be extremely difficult to determine whether I am getting facts or opinions. I have gotten to the point that I don’t even bother watching. I won’t waste time ranting about the liberal media because I suspect that if you are reading this blog you likely don’t need reminded of what is already obvious to you. Occasionally I do come across a piece of media that I find particularly enlightening or inspirational. Enter John Lott speaking at the Andrew Breitbart Freedom Center at The Heartland Institute. The topic of course is gun control. The video, for anybody interested in the topic, is must-see TV. Share it if possible. It’s important to get this information out there. If we hope to maintain our 2nd Amendment rights than we must fight the constant bombardment of mistruths and prejudices every chance we get. This video is ammunition for that fight.
